Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified police policy and procedures expert has over 35 years of experience, and has extensive experience in undercover and surveillance operations, as well as narcotics identification and investigations. He earned his AS in criminal justice from the County College of Morris, and both his BS in justice studies and his MSM in criminal justice administration from the College of Saint Elizabeth. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He is certified as a public manager and as a master use of force instructor and is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the American Society of Industrial Security and the National Tactical Officers Association. This expert spent 24 years with the Union City New Jersey Police Department, beginning with the department as a patrolman. He then went on to work in the narcotics division as a detective, the narcotics task force supervisor, and eventually the commanding officer of the division while he was a lieutenant. He also served as a patrol tour commander, the police liaison to the Office of the Mayor, the patrol division commander, and the captain. Before his retirement from the police department, he served as the deputy chief of police. Since 2009, this expert has owned and operated his own private investigation company in New Jersey.
