Dr. James S. Blachly has 9 years of experience in the fields of Hematology and Medical Oncology. He earned his BA in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas and his MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. After completing an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UAMS Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Today, this expert is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He currently serves as the Principal Investigator of the Blachly Lab and as Faculty Lead of the DNA Sequencing Team in the Experimental Hematology Lab at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. He is also a Physician at the Hematology and Transplantation Clinic and an Attending Physician on the Inpatient Hematology Teams at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Moreover, he is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
