Dr. Doff B. McElhinney has 16 years of experience in the field of Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Pediatric Cardiology. He earned his BA from Harvard College and his MD from UCSF School of Medicine. He also earned his MS from the University of California Berkeley. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and Interventional Pediatric Cardiology at Boston Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Pediatric Cardiology. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and as the Director of Interventional Cardiology for Congenital and Structural Heart Disease at NYU Langone Health. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Pediatrics at Stanford University, as an Attending Interventional Cardiologist at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, and as an Attending Physician at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. He also serves as the Director of the Pulmonary Artery Reconstruction Program and the Clinical and Translational Research Program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford.
