Prof. Jorge L. Contreras has 33 years of experience in the field of Law with expertise in Trademark and Intellectual Property. He earned his BA in English and BSEE from Rice University and his JD from Harvard Law School. Formerly, he held roles such as a Professor of Law at S.J. Quinney College of Law, The University of Utah, as an Associate Professor at American University Washington College of Law, and as a Partner at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP. Currently, this expert serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and James T. Jensen Endowed Professor for Transactional Law at S.J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah, He also works as a Legal and Strategy Consultant at Contreras Legal Strategy LLC and as Director of the Program on Intellectual Property and Technology Law at S.J. Quinney College of Law, University of Utah.
