Expert Qualifications
Dr. John A. McKeating has 32 years of experience in the field of Surgery. He earned his BA from Washington and Jefferson College and his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Surgery at UPMC Mercy, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Medical Director in the Division of Surgical Oncology and as an Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program at UPMC Mercy. Currently, he serves as a Physician at The Center for Musculoskeletal Evaluations, as the Vice Chairman and Physician of Surgery at UPMC Mercy, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh.
