Dr. Tariq Shafi has over 14 years of experience in the field of Nephrology. He earned his MBBS from Dow Medical College and his MHS from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Detroit Medical Center, he went on to complete his fellowship in Nephrology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles such as an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and as an Associate Professor in the Division of Nephrology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He currently serves as a Professor of Population Health and Medicine, the John D. Bower Director of the Division of Nephrology, and as the Medical Director of the Dialysis Clinic at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Nephrology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
