Expert Qualifications
Dr. Daniel R. Vig has 24 years of experience in the field of General Surgery. He earned his BS from the University of Wisconsin Madison and his MD from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed his residency in General Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at UNC REX Healthcare and as Medical Director of REX Wound Healing Centers. Currently, he serves as a General and Gastrointestinal Surgery Physician at North Carolina Surgery.
