Expert Qualifications
Dr. Ronald Curran has 25 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He earned his MD from Rush Medical College of Rush University. After completing his residency in General Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, respectively. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chair of the Department of Surgery and as the Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Section at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Currently, he serves as a Cardiovascular Surgeon at Riverside Healthcare.
