Expert Qualifications
Dr. William J. Hicks II has 10 years of experience in the field of Vascular Neurology. He earned his BS in Psychology from Morehouse College and his MD from the Howard University College of Medicine. After completing both an internship in Transitional Medicine and a residency in Neurology at Henry Ford Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurology. This expert currently serves as the President of the Medical Staff and as a Co-Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is also the Medical Director of the Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit through OhioHealth and a Vascular Neurologist for OhioHealth Neurological Physicians.
