Expert Qualifications
Dr. Joseph L. Schneider has 17 years of experience in the fields of Neurology and Vascular Neurology. He earned his BA from Tufts University and his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Neurology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Yale University School of Medicine and as the Acting Chief of Stroke and Vascular Neurology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. This expert currently serves as an Attending and Consulting Neurologist, as the Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center, and as the Chief of Stroke and Vascular Neurology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is also a Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Yale University School of Medicine and an Attending Neurologist for Yale Medicine. Moreover, he is both the Director of the Neurology Consultative Service and a Consulting Neurologist at Gaylord Hospital and the Chief Medical Officer of Aeromics, Inc.
