Expert Qualifications
Dr. William G. Cheadle has 36 years of experience in the field of Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He earned his BS in Biological Sciences and BA in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, and his MD from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. After completing his residency in General Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgery at the Price Institute of Surgical Research, University of Louisville. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chief of the Clinical Research Foundation at Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center and as the Associate Dean of VA Research at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Surgery in the Division of General Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and as Active Staff at the University of Louisville Hospital and Norton Hospital.
