Expert Qualifications
Dr. James V. Klas has 26 years of experience in the field of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his BS in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin and his MD from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After completing a residency in General Surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, he went on to complete a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Today, this expert is board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery. He currently serves as a Surgeon in the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Aurora Medical Group Surgical Specialists, which is a position he has held since 1996. He is also a physician at The Surgery Center LLC.
