Expert Qualifications
Dr. Joseph Richard Hellmann has 30 years of experience in the field of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He earned his BS from Xavier University and his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport, he went on to complete another residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Clinical Instructor in the department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and as a Co-Chief in the department of Surgery at Mercy Health-Anderson Hospital. Currently, he serves as a Teaching Faculty and Division Chief at The Christ Hospital and as a Physician at The Christ Hospital Physicians.
