Expert Qualifications
Dr. Timothy S. Misselbeck has 11 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He earned his BS in Health Sciences from Drexel University and his MD from Ross University School of Medicine. After completing his residencies in General Surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Cardiovascular Surgery at Texas Heart Institute, he went on to complete his fellowship in Cardiac Transplantation at Texas Heart Institute. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Currently, he serves as the Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support and Perfusion Services and the Section Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute. He also serves as a Cardiac Surgeon in the Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute, as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and as an Assistant Professor at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
