Dr. Frank H. Kern has 35 years of experience in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BS in Animal Biology and Zoology from George Washington University and his MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing both an internship and a residency in Pediatrics at the Baylor College of Medicine, he went on to complete another residency in Anesthesia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, after which he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia and Critical Care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Today, this expert is board certified in Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Anesthesiology, and Pediatrics. Formerly, this expert served as the Interim Director of the Cardiac ICU at Children's Medical Center Dallas and as a Professor of Pediatrics, as well as Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He currently serves as a Physician with North American Partners in Anesthesia, where he also serves as the Director of Pediatric Anesthesia. He is a Professor of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, as well.
