Expert Qualifications
Dr. Robert Dennis Christensen has over 42 years of experience in the fields of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Neonatology. He earned his BS in Genetics and Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Utah and his MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at Stanford Health Care, he went on to complete two fellowships in Neonatology and Hematology at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Lewis A. Barness Professor of Pediatrics at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, as Chief of Neonatology at the University of Florida, and the Director of Neonatology Research at Intermountain Medical Center. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
