Expert Qualifications
Dr. Aron Wahrman has 30 years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery. He earned his BA in Literature from Columbia University and his MD from Yale University. After completing his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Temple University Hospital, he went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Today, this expert is board certified in Plastic Surgery. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of several peer-reviewed journal publications, books, and book chapters. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Visiting Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Penn State University College of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Section Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Wilmington Veterans Administration Medical Center and as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
