Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery. He earned his BS in business management from the University of Kansas before earning his MD from Washington University at St. Louis School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He then went on to complete a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. He is a member of several reputable medical societies, including the American Shoulder and Elbow Society, and has published 25 peer-reviewed articles and 6 book chapters in his field. Currently, he is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery, the associate director of the orthopedic residency program, and the co-director of the shoulder and elbow fellowship at an Ivy League medical school. He is also an attending orthopedic surgeon at two hospitals and a consulting physician at a VA medical center, all located in Rhode Island.
