Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert in addiction psychiatry earned his BS in molecular biology at the University of Central Florida and his MD the University of South Florida. After completing his internship in internal medicine and his residency in internal medicine at Boston University Medical Center, this expert went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is active in his field as a member of the Society for Academic Medicine and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. Formerly, he served as a staff psychiatrist specializing in substance abuse at the VA Boston Healthcare System and as the director of addiction services at both Chrysalis Health and Harmony Hills. He also served as an assistant professor in psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine and as an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral health at Florida International University Currently, he is a psychiatrist and a medical director of addiction psychiatry at a medical center in Florida.
