Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert is board certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. She earned her BS in neuroscience at Vanderbilt, followed by her MD at the University of Florida. She then went on to complete a residency in psychiatry at the University of Florida and a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Yale. She is active in her field as a member of the American Psychiatric Association and as the author of several peer-reviewed papers on topics related to psychiatry. Formerly, she served as an inpatient psychiatrist and a mental health supervisor at a VA hospital, an instructor at Harvard Medical School, the medical director of the dual diagnosis program at Mclean Hospital, and the chief psychiatrist at Amen Clinics. Currently, she is the chief medical officer of a dual diagnosis inpatient facility in Florida.
