Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has extensive experience in hematopathology. He obtained his BS in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles, before receiving his MD from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He then completed a prestigious residency in pathology and fellowship in hematopathology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Today, this expert is double board-certified in anatomic pathology and hematopathology. He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Hematology, the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathology, and the International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis. He is also very active in academia, having researched, published, and presented on topics related to hematopathology and coagulation. This expert previously served as an assistant clinical professor of pathology and as the associate director of the hematopathology fellowship program at the University of California, Davis. He is currently an assistant clinical professor of pathology and the associate director of the hematology/coagulation laboratory at a top university in southern California.
