Expert Qualifications
This expert is a leading crime scene investigator with 33 years of experience. He completed his BS in environmental toxicology at UC Davis and his MA in biological science at San Jose State University. He is a certified crime scene investigator and clinical toxicologist. He is active in the field as a member of the American Board of Criminalists, where he sits on the recertification committee, and as a member of the Association of Firearms and Toolmark Examiners. He previously held toxicology and criminalist positions with the San Francisco Medical Examiner, the San Francisco Police Department, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department and San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department. He now is a senior forensic scientist at a private crime laboratory in California.
