This board-certified ophthalmologist has over 25 years of experience in his field, specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery and neuro-ophthalmology. After earning a BA in biology from Franklin & Marshall College, he went on to earn an MD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. This expert completed an internship in internal medicine followed by his residency in ophthalmology at Interfaith Medical Center before completing a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery from the University of Minnesota. He stays active in his field as a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society as well as presenting on topics related to his specialty around the state of New York. Formerly, this expert was the director of oculoplastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology at Interfaith Medical Center for 8 years and at Nassau University Medical Center for 15 years. Currently, he is an attending oculoplastic surgeon at four medical centers and hospitals in New York, and also the medical director of an oculofacial plastic and cosmetic surgery private practice in New York.
