Expert Qualifications
This expert has been involved with healthcare security for over 28 years, with a focus on policy and protocol development. He has experience providing internal site assessments where he would review the current physical security, contracts with service providers, budgeting, and other Joint Commission security standards. Once reviewed, he would develop policies and procedures to align with corporate responsibilities, operational needs, and priorities. Formerly, he was the manager of security at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, and a manager of safety & security at UNC Health High Point Regional. Currently, he is an administrator in the security & risk department for a business services consulting firm. In this role, his responsibilities include providing assistance with government and regulatory audits by analyzing data and providing reports, confirming that appropriate physical security controls are maintaining proper traffic flow through subject areas.
