Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has over 30 years of experience in federal crop insurance. He earned his BS in food science at North Carolina State University and is certified as a food technologist through the US Department of Agriculture where he has taken extensive training courses for this industry. Formerly, he served as the staff assistant to the deputy administrator at the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. He went on to serve as a claims services director and underwriting director at Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. Later, he became deputy director of the risk management agency at the US Department of Agriculture, where he also served as the assistant deputy administrator of insurance services. Currently, this expert serves as a partner in risk development at a land development consulting firm and as a consultant in agricultural risk management at a crop insurance management firm, both in North Carolina.
