Expert Qualifications
This expert earned his BS in biology from Duke University and his MD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he went on to complete his residency in anesthesia and critical care. He then did volunteer physician work at the Bwindi Community Hospital in Uganda and also worked in Peru for 12 months as a translator for visiting physicians. He went on to work in consulting work for McKinsey and Company and Doctors Without Borders. For the past 5 years, he has worked as a physician anesthesiologist at an anesthesiology group in Oregon and more recently, he took on the role of Anesthesia Medical Director at a surgery center in Oregon.
