Expert Qualifications
This qualified expert has experience as a physical therapist specializing in pelvis rehabilitation. She obtained her BS in health sciences and PhD in physical therapy from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. She is a certified physical therapist and earned a specialist certification in pelvic rehabilitation through Herman and Wallace Institute. She has experience working with women during pregnancy, postpartum, and pre and post surgically after urogynecological and colorectal procedures, as well as treating total joint-replacements, spinal injuries, falls, balance training, de-conditioning, neck pain, back pain, and post-operative care involving spinal procedures. Formerly, she served under the doctor of physical therapy program and as a pelvic floor specialist at Renew Physical Therapy, as a lead pelvic health specialist at Virtua Health. Currently, she serves as a pelvic health specialist at a healthcare system in New Jersey. She also serves as a physical therapist in pelvic and orthopedic services at a hospital and as a telehealth physical therapist at a clinic in New Jersey.
