This highly qualified expert has 15 years of experience in public health, specializing in demography, epidemiology, population health, and infectious disease prevention. He obtained his BA in biology from Harvard University, before receiving his MS in medical demography from the University of London and his PhD in sociology with a focus in historical demography and the epidemiology of influenza and tuberculosis from the University of California, Berkeley. Today, this expert is an active member and the past president of the Society for Biodemography and Social Biology. He is also very active in academia, having published 33 peer-reviewed journal articles, 2 book chapters, and 2 encyclopedia entries on topics related to viral epidemiology.
