Expert Qualifications
This expert has more than 35 years of experience in surface water hydrology as well as environmental and engineering geology. He graduated with his BS in geology from California State University, Fresno, his MS in geology from the University of California, Davis, and his Ph.D. in geology from Purdue University. He was formerly an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill before moving to the University of California, Santa Barbara where he eventually became the chair of the earth science department. He has published over 150 times on water hydrology and environmental and engineering geology. He is currently a professor of earth science at a major university in California.
