He went on to complete an Internship and a Residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. He then completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at SUNY Health Sciences Center. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is active in his community at a Fellow in several medical societies, including the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, and a member of several medical associations such as the American Society for Microbiology. This expert has given over 300 lectures, authored over 100 publications, written 6 books, and written 10 book chapters on topics relating to his field. He has held the position of Chief of Infectious Diseases at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn & Queens and Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers, and has also served as the President and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital. He has also held positions as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and SUNY Health Science Center at Stony Brook. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and a Hospital Epidemiologist at a Major Hospital in New York, and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at a Medical School in New York.
