Expert Qualifications
This experienced expert earned her MD from McMaster University, and completed a residency in pediatrics from the same institution. She is currently a member of the Ontario Medical Association, and is a recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Professional Association of Interns and Residents in Ontario, as well as the Garrett Distinction Award through the Hamilton Health Sciences Center. She formerly worked as a consultant pediatrician at Owen Sound Family Health Team. This expert is currently an associate professor of pediatrics, and a clinical lead in the general pediatrics inpatient unit at a medical university. She is also an outpatient consulting pediatrician at a provincial long-term care group.
