Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified, board certified surgical oncologist has extensive experience in his field. He completed his BS in history and molecular biology from Tulane University and his MD from Wayne State University. Additionally, this expert earned his MPH in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University. After finishing his residency in surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, this expert went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in surgical oncology from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is dual board certified in surgery and complex general surgical oncology. This expert is a member of various professional societies and organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Connective Tissue Oncology Society. Formerly, this expert has served as a clinical specialist at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, as a consultant at the AIDS Institute, and as the safe surgery saves lives pilot site coordinator at the World Health Organization. Currently, this expert serves as the associate program director of safe surgery at a MA university, an assistant in surgery at a top MA hospital, and as an assistant professor of surgery at an ivy league university.
