He holds close to two dozen certifications and has completed several courses through academic institutions like Texas A&M University. His notable certifications including Residential Building, Electrical and Plumbing Inspector, Hazardous Communication Standard and Accident Investigation. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Formerly he was a carpenter at Curtiss Renovation and Gilford Trim and Millwork.
