This highly-qualified expert has years of experience in capital markets in addition to an impressive background in engineering and information technology. He received his BS in electrical engineering from Boḡaziçi University in his home country of Istanbul before earning both his MS in computer engineering and his PhD in electrical engineering at Syracuse University. He has experience in a variety of areas, including exchanges, over-the-counter platforms, securities, futures, options, clearing, commodities, stocks, fintech, software, and market manipulation. He is active in his field as an author of several journal articles and conference proceedings. He held a number of roles in the engineering field before transitioning his focus to capital markets. Some notable engineering positions of his include product engineer for Caterpillar and assistant professor of electrical engineering and computer science at Northwestern University. More recently, he has served as a fixed income product advisor for JP Morgan, a market designer and the CTO for the Stock Exchange of the Caribbean, the co-founder of Numéraire Technology, and a partner at Myra Trading. Currently, this expert is the president of a global finance advisory in Illinois.
