Expert Qualifications

This expert has over 20 years of experience in automotive electronics engineering. He holds a BS in physics from Michigan State University, a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Texas, a BS in computer science from Wayne State University, and a MBA in international economics from Oakland University. He began his career as an avionics electrical engineer with the US Air Force, performing field engineering testing, reliability, and failure analysis for various aviation electronic modules. He went on to graduate from the Ford Technical Education Program, and worked as an internal consultant and technical specialist to over 200 other engineers. In additional to Ford Motor Company, this expert has also served as an engineer for DaimlerChrysler Corporation, Visteon Corporation, GERTRAG Transmission Corporation and Continental Automotive. Over the course of his career, he has designed shift-by-wire electronic driver controls, power-train control modules, electronic transmission control units, body electronic control units, and hybrid-electric vehicle electronics. Currently, this expert serves as the principal engineer at an automotive electronics engineering firm in Michigan.
