Expert Qualifications

This experienced actuary has over 40 years of experience in his field. His work throughout his career has involved actuarial services, pension plans, ERISA, government audits, marital dissolution, estate tax and life expectancy calculations, loss of income, death, disability, executive deferred compensation plans, and insurance and annuity contracts. He earned a BA in mathematics from Rutgers University and his FSA, the highest level of education for an actuary. He is a licensed series 7 & 63 financial industry regulatory authority actuary. He is a member of several actuary societies including the American Academy of Actuaries and the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries. He served as a consulting actuary at Alexander & Alexander, where he worked his way up to head actuary of the western region. He then served as a principal of retirement practices at Olaine, Hurst, & Hemrich. After a decade, he moved to Howard Johnson to serve as a consulting actuary. He then served as the President for the Morton Company and the Kagan Company before transitioning back to consulting. This expert currently serves as the owner and consulting actuary for an actuarial and pension services company in California.
