Expert Qualifications
This expert is the only physician in the United States who is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care and medical toxicology. He is also a certified independent medical examiner. He earned a BS in biology from the University of Wisconsin and his MD from the American University of the Caribbean. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine from the University of Missouri, followed by a fellowship in medical toxicology at Banner University Medical Center and a second fellowship in pulmonary critical care medicine at the University of Arizona. He is active in his field as a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American Association of Clinical Toxicologists. Currently, he is a pulmonologist with a medical group in Arizona, and an outpatient clinical instructor at a college of osteopathic medicine.
