Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert has extensive experience in family medicine, obesity medicine, and telemedicine. He received his BS in chemical engineering and his MS in biomedical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology before earning his DO from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He subsequently completed an internship and residency in family practice at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital before completing a fellowship in health disparity research at the University of North Texas. He is active in his field as a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Obesity Society. This expert is also highly involved in research, having authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and spoken at multiple medical conferences throughout his career. He has formerly served as the director of weight management services at UMDNJ School of Medicine, as well as an associate professor of family medicine and the co-course director of the prevention module at Rowan School of Medicine. Currently, this expert serves as the director of both the Center for Information Mastery and the Center for Medical Weight Loss & Metabolic Control and as a professor of family medicine at a medical school in New Jersey. Additionally, this expert is a telehealth physician for a telemedicine and virtual healthcare company.
