Expert Qualifications
Dr. Adrian Maung has over 13 years of experience in the fields of General, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care Surgery. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MD from the University of Pittsburgh. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Formerly, this expert held a role as an Assistant Professor in Trauma, Critical Care, and Surgical Emergencies at Yale School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Surgical Director of Perioperative Services and as General Surgery, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care Surgeon at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Section of Trauma, Critical Care, and Surgical Emergencies at Yale School of Medicine.
