He obtained his BS in civil engineering from the Toosi University of Technology, his MS in civil engineering from the University of Tehran, a second MS in industrial administration from Purdue University, and his PhD in civil engineering from Purdue University. Today, he is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Engineering Project Organization, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences. This expert is also very active in academia and research, having published hundreds of peer-reviewed articles and having been the recipient of numerous prestigious grants. He has also been the recipient of numerous professional awards and honors, including the National Science Foundation's CAREER Award, the Civil & Structural Magazine's Rising Star in Civil Engineering Award, and the U.S. Department of Transportation's People's Choice Award. Formerly, this expert served as a project manager assistant at Huawei Technologies, as a graduate researcher in civil engineering at Purdue University, and as an assistant professor in construction and engineering at Florida International University. Currently, he works as an assistant professor of civil engineering at a university in Texas and as a research fellow at this school's Institute for Science, Technology & Public Policy.
