This highly-qualified expert is a social worker specializing in psychiatric patients. She earned her BSW from Christopher Newport University followed by her MSW from the University of South Carolina. She then completed an internship in case management with Newport News Court Appointed Special Advocates and an apprenticeship in social work at the University of South Carolina. She is a licensed master social worker and is certified in assessing and managing suicide risk as well as screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment.
