Expert Qualifications
Dr. Andrew S. Agos has 24 years of experience in the field of General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He earned his BA from the University of Chicago and his MD from Chicago Medical School - Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. After completing his residency in General Surgery at Metropolitan Group Hospitals - University of Illinois, he went on to complete a fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery. Formerly, he was Associate Partner at Metropolitan Surgical Associates, and a Partner at Boffa Surgical Group, L.L.C., and Northern Illinois Emergency Surgical Services, Ltd. Currently, he is the Medical Director of the Division of Trauma at NorthShore University HealthSystem where he also serves as a Clinician Educator and General and Trauma Surgeon.
