This qualified expert in infectious disease has 20 years of experience in the field. He earned his BS from the University of California, Davis and his MD from the Medical College of Virginia, before completing a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious disease at Georgetown University. This expert is board certified in infectious diseases and remains active in his field as a member of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Disease Society of America. Formerly this expert served as clinical staff in the HIV and AIDS malignancy department and as a physician investigator in the vaccine research center at the National Institutes of Health. Afterward, he practiced as an infectious diseases physician at Unity Healthcare and the associated Washington D.C. clinics, and at the Washington D.C. Department of Corrections. He currently is the section head of infectious diseases at a prominent health system in Maryland and is a practicing physician at several regional hospitals.
