Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert has over a decade of experience in the fields of occupational medicine and family medicine. She earned a BA in sociology and anthropology as well as a BA in physics from West Virginia University before also earning an MS in occupational hygiene and occupational safety, an MPH, and an MD from the same institution. She then went on to complete her post-graduate training with a residency in family medicine at Washington Hospital and a residency in occupational medicine at West Virginia University. This expert is dual board certified in family medicine and occupational medicine and stays active in her field as a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Formerly, she held positions as an attending physician at Family Health Care and MedPointe of Harrison County and as the associate director of the occupational medicine residency program at West Virginia University. She is currently an associate professor of occupational medicine at a university-affiliated hospital in West Virginia.
