Dr. Anna Maria Blake Toker has 17 years of experience in the field of Colon & Rectal Surgery. She earned her BS and BA from the University of New Orleans, MS from Louisiana State University and her MD from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. After completing her residency in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, she went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is active in her field as a member of several professional societies including the Texas Medical Association and the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. She also contributes to research in her field as the author of 11 peer-reviewed journal publications. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Teaching Staff of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and as the Medical Director at Duncanville Surgery Center.
