Expert Qualifications
Dr. Anthony C. Pearson has over 38 years of experience in the field of Cardiology. He earned both his BS in Psychology and Zoology and his MS in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his MD from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, he stayed at the same institution to complete a fellowship in Cardiology. Today, this expert is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of both the Echocardiography Laboratory and Anticoagulation Clinic, and as a Cardiologist at St. Luke's Hospital. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Professor of Cardiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and as a Physician in the Division of Cardiology at SLUCare Physician Group.
