Expert Qualifications
This expert has over 20 years of experience in the field of pediatric hematology-oncology and is triple board certified in pediatrics, pediatric hematology-oncology, and neuro-oncology. He received his MD from the School of Medicine Cagliari, completed an internship and residency in pediatrics, and finished a residency in pediatric hematology-oncology at New York Medical College. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Pediatric-Oncology, Society of Neuro-Oncology, and the Children's Oncology Group. He was previously the director of the pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at the University of Miami and was an attending physician at St. Joseph's Hospital. Currently, he is an attending physician of pediatric hematology-oncology at a children's hospital, a member of the pediatric palliative service and assistant professor of pediatric hematology-oncology at a medical school, and an attending physician of pediatric hematology-oncology at a university-affiliated hospital in FL.
