Expert Qualifications
Dr. Bita Naini has 11 years of experience in the field of Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Laboratory Medicine. She earned her BA from the University of California Berkeley and her MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. After completing her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at UCLA Medical Center, she went on to complete a fellowship in Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology at the same institution. Today, this expert is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Surgical Pathology Fellowship and as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor of Pathology, as the Medical Director of Clinical Laboratories, and as the Chief of the Division of Anatomic Pathology at UCLA Health.
