Expert Qualifications
This well-published and highly distinguished expert earned her BS and MS in Biology from Peking University in China. She then went on to complete her PhD in Genetics from Iowa State University. She pursued two Postdoctoral Fellowships in Biological Chemistry and Medicine from UC Irvine. This expert is active in her field as a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Cancer Research, the Society for Melanoma Research, the American Society of Preventive Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She has been honored with a number of awards, including the Presidential Research Award from the Chinese Academy of Science, the Research Excellence Award from Iowa State and the Faculty Research Award in Medicine from UC-Irvine. She is a prolific researcher in her field with over 30 peer-reviewed publications. Formerly, she was an Assistant Professional Researcher of Epidemiology and Medicine as well as an Assistant Project Scientist of Medicine at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. This expert is currently an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at a Top-Tier Medical School.
