Expert Qualifications
This board certified expert earned a BS (highest honors) from the University of California- Santa Cruz and MD from University of California- San Diego. Residency and fellowship training were completed at Yale University School of Medicine.The expert completed a fellowship at one of the premier research and clinical centers for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Addiction, and childhood trauma. She is actively involved in a number of clinical programs and projects to increase knowledge and clinical proficiency of multi disciplinary providers in treating patients with opioid dependence and for increasing awareness of mental health needs in the general population. Currently, she is a staff psychiatrist in private practice specializing in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
